Sai Baba’s temple is established at many places, Sai Darbar Temple is one of the holy and popular religious places of Dehradun. It is constructed with white marble and the idol of Sai Baba is placed in the center of the temple. There are many other images of other gods and goddesses also installed inside the temple. There is a large hall inside the temple where prayer sessions and aartis take place every evening. Yellow rice (Tahiri or Yellow Pulao) is distributed here as Prasad on Thursdays. On Thursday many people come to this place for worship as Thursday is the day of Sai Baba.
About Sai Baba Darbar
Devotees come here from far and wide and after the fulfillment of their wishes, they make a bhandara in the temple and it is distributed to the devotees in the form of prasad. Thursday is celebrated as the day of Sai Baba, so there is a crowd of devotees on this day and Bhandara is organized on this day. In Sai Baba’s court, there are more idols like Shiva, Hanuman, Goddess Durga and Kali Maa etc.
